The TriAnkle Project (3D printing of personalized implants for tendons and cartilages in ankle injuries) aims to improve the junctions and cartilages (and therefore, the overall movement) of the ankle by introducing a tailored, 3D bio-printed collagen-and-gelatin based structure in the affected area. This is a 48-month project that started in January 2021. It has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation framework programme under the Grant Agreement #952981.
